what kind of frame is that? that down tube is crazy looking.
I understand that you can stop faster with a front brake as opposed to just a back brake, but I could never corner tight with a front brake. I don’t know if it was the geometry of the bike I was riding, but when I tried just a front brake and freewheel I would spin out the front end a lot.
Drizz, it’s a Louis Garneau. Popular up in Canada.
TD, my problem with a front brake was crashes can bend the bolt that runs through the fork. Then the caliper sets at an angle to the rim and braking power is lost.
haha I have experience with this problem. Finally the other night I jack knifed the front end and snapped the bolt right off. Too bad this frame isnt set up to run a back brake
