I just got word that the 120mm polo fork that Milwaukee Bicycle Co. and I worked together to make is now available.
I’ve been riding this fork since before 2010 Worlds and it’s great.
When I was working with Drew at MKE to make this happen I had this to say about the idea.
“I [...]

I came back from Wisconsin with a prototype of the Milwaukee Bicycle Co. new MKE Polo Fork. I finally installed it with some help from Affinity Cycles.
I added a big free wheel for the photos but for game play it will not be there. Instead I’ll be running the front without any cog or freewheel [...]

so i just built mine yesterday played on it last night, pretty much the best feeling bike I’ve ever played polo on. i have a 22th free wheel on one side and a 16 on the other can ride both with one chain but the rear brake doesn’t reach for the 16 but it is a prototype so still working out the bugs. i dont really understand whats ugly about it i think its pretty hot

saw kremin sporting this as his new polo frame last night. it looks pretty cool. i personally am not a fan of the front brake running through the headtube style, its a real pain to wrench on and they never seem to work totally right.
and the rear brake if you run flip flop will hit the tire when fliiped, but hey this is the prototype and its more a trickin bike than polo bike.

hey kremin. can you give us some specs on this? can i run 26″ wheels on this?

probably not we set it up so that its 700 c we are trying to get away from 650 c bar spin shit. im not sure that you have to run the brake through the fork i think you can do either. all the cable guides are removeable and metal. you could also put a gyro on if you’d like (i think thats lame but covering all ends) ill post mine on bikepolo.ca soon so you can see a real polo set up with lots of close ups.
