don’t let the colour of the ball fool ya. this is a big heavy field hockey ball, and the film is from the Shoreditch tourney in August, a couple months before London switch to a roller hockey ball. that’s why a big windup would barely make the ball move.
this is the semis, BAD went on to the finals and was beaten by the kinds from Zurich.

i think that the level of play in london has increased drastically since then. With the league going, there are shit loads of competitive games every week, stepping up the level.
