New Vans shoes
New New, like new you can’t but them yet.
A few polo players and myself were asked to do a shoot for a magazine this past Sunday. One of the things they had for us to wear were these new Vans shoes. Apparently designed after vintage cycling shoes I’m pretty sure that this style, the tags said “supercorsa”, are newer than the cog and chain styles some other bike culture blogs have recently posted about. Made of real leather and has the old school Vans rubber sole. If they were my size, I’d have kept them!

don’t look very burly, nor stiff enough for bike practicality. cycling shoes (like those you link to) have hard soles.

I was in town and cruised by when that photoshoot was going on. looked like a mad amount of gear for a bike polo shoot, and doug did look awful fancy…
