I stopped by Horse Cycles to visit Thomas and get a peek at his polo bike as he was working to finish it.

As an alternative to the Governors Island, New York Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on 6/5 try Polo at the Park Bethpage State Park Long Island. The MTA LIRR has a roundtrip NYC to polo for $22. Bring a picnic or for $10 access the Hospitality area with gourmet lunch and a Bar. Tailgate Tents are also available.
