A Thank You to Dockers

My team and I were lucky enough to get set up with a sponsorship from Dockers for our participation in the 2010 World Hardcourt Bike Polo Championships in Berlin. We were set up with some new pants and they custom screened the winged anchor logo on some t-shirts for us. This was all despite our team name being Profane Lobotomy. It all worked out great! Thank you for your support.

The top teams were determined by games played and the lower teams were by rounds won and by goal difference/goals scored
Over four days, on four courts, more than 100 teams played to be the best in the world.
In the weeks leading to this Championship 50 teams had already pre-qualified.
On Thursday there were 55 teams playing to determine the last 14 teams of the 64 teams allowed into the 2010 World Championships.
Over Friday and Saturday all 64 qualified teams played a total of 8 games each.
The best 32 teams advanced to Sunday, the final day, to play in a double elimination bracket.

Rad Ball stamps at Keirin Cafe

Adam, Zach, Matt and I stopped at keirinberlin one of the days after Worlds. This is a famous shop. I got to meet Mo, who Zach and Adam were already friends with. We hung out for a bit, looked at bikes, drank Bionade, talked about the kids today. Matt asked me to get a photo of one of the many old cycling stamps that are framed in the shop. A really impressive collection. I took a close look at them because the art used is really interesting. Kind of reminds me of what some fliers are like for this generation of cyclist. After snapping the one for Matt I noticed a couple of rad ball stamps.
